Brianna

Brianna did great with her surgery. We are so proud of her. I think Jason and I cried more than she did. She did however tell the nurse that was taking out her IV to get her hands off and leave her alone! What do you say to that. The next week after being home she ate a ton of popcycles. Rachel and Vannah came to stay that next week, since Bri had to be out of school. It was great for me. Rachel cleaned house and did all of the laundry. I told Jason that we made a full time house wife! Just kidding. Despite Brianna's surgery we had a good weekend for Easter. I wrecked one of Dave's planes. That was not good! We had a lot of company and had some good family time. Brianna, Savannah, and Papa DAve made a snowman. Yes, a snowman the day before Easter. Crazy! The kids sat in the hot tub for a while. Then we kicked them out so the grown ups could get in. It was a lot of fun.

It's been a while!!

Well, so much for me keeping up with this. I really intended on it! That should count. We have been busy busy the past couple of months. Jason has a lot of work for school he is working on and then of course work. My job is wonderful!! I love it. I am a lot less stressed out. Kaci and I joined the gym. We started with power yoga and pilates. I am so sore after 2 classes. Who knew you could get sore from stretching and relaxing. Also, I found out that I have extremely poor balance. Now on to Brianna. She turned 5 years old on the 3/30. She is getting so big. On Saturday after her birthday I took her on a birthday surprise. We went to Denton and picked up Savannah and then went to Ft. Worth to the Disney Princess's on Ice! It was fantastic. We all three loved it. The girls squilled and screamed the whole time. It was wonderful. Bri and I spent the night at Joe and Rachels that night. We had a great weekend. Brianna also got a trampoline for her birthday. NO, our child is NOT SPOILED!! Well, she may me just a little spoiled. Brianna had strep throat for the 100th time. She is going to have her tonsils and adnoids out on 4/5. So keep her in your prayers. Granna and Papa Dave are coming down for the surgery. Grandma and Papa Eddie will be coming down on Friday. I am looking forward to seeing everyone. Bri will be out of school for a week. Rachel and Savannah are coming to stay with Bri so that Jason and I can go back to work. Artie is now up to 7 pounds. He has come a long way since his starting weight of 2 pounds. For all that don't remember, Artie is our new dog. He is so cute. Well, I think that is all that has been going on lately. I wll try to get some pictures of the girls at the princess on ice on here. I have had trouble with my computer and our camera. My stepbrother, Justin, was in a bad car accident but he is doing well. He also got bit by a spider and has had quite a bit of problems following that. My brother-in-law, Zade, was in a pretty bad accident at work and fell 20 feet on some metal. He landed on his head and has a skull fracture and crushed his sinus cavity. Please keep both of them in your prayers also.
