Halloween

Well, where do I begin about Halloween? I will start with my amazing future dad. He dressed up as a pirate for my step-sisters school. He is so cool!

Next, Brianna wanted to be a butterfly. I could not find a butterfly costume. Fairy, yes, butterfly, no. So, we got the wings, added a black leatard(how do you spell that), black tights, black shoes, and homemade antennas. She was very excited and cute.

We carved a big pumpkin on Sunday night. Bri went to the pumpkin patch on a field trip. She came home from school with a little pumpkin. She insisted that we carve the little pumpkin too. Brianna designed the faces. I think she did a pretty good job.

Okay, next. I got a call on Monday night from a lady from my work. She said "bring food and dress up". So I did. I was Malificent, the witch from Sleeping Beauty. We also had the UTI(urinary tract infection) Team. They were a dodge ball team. It was so funny. One girl was the coach(not shown in the picture). She had the most inappropriately funny costume I have ever seen in my life. It was gross! But still, with my warped since of humor, I thought it was funny. We did not let her talk to any visitors that day. Oh, the food. We had soo much! Everyone grazed all day. They are already talking about next year.

Bri and I were sitting waiting for Jason to get home so we could go trick or treating and our door busts open and in comes Richard Simmons and one of his dancers(Jason's sisters, Traci and Kaci). So funny! Brianna said, "that is NOT my Aunt Kaci." It was great. I laughed until I was crying.

We went trick or treating in our neighborhood. We also took Bri to the church down the road. They had a carnival. She really had a great time. I wish she didn't have to do it alone though. She just has me and Jason. She does ask, on occasion, when she will have a brother or sister. The answer is always the same. "you won't" It just sucks. Anyway, she doesn't seem to care too much.

AT SCHOOL: Again, Bri is terrified of big headed animals and characters. So, who tried to open the car door at her school today? Clifford the big red dog. She crawled in the floor board and was screaming! I jumped out of the car and yelled at Clifford to move back. Who came to the rescue? None other than, The Cat in the Hat! That was not any better. Finally a teacher not dressed up came over. We pulled Brianna out of the car with her screaming and crying. The teacher had to carry her all the way in to the school. She was terrified! So, we ended up holding up the carpool line for about 5 minutes. It was bad.

Brianna's Weekend

Well, Brianna danced tonight at the football game. She did a great job. The funny thing is that she did not want us to watch. She has gotten really shy lately. It did not bother her for everyone else to watch, just her mom and dad. Why is that? I tried to tell her that we love to watch her do things. So, we dropped her off and went to the top of the stands, where she couldn't see us, and watched. I even recorded it. We will tell her someday. When they were done and walking off the field she spotted the MASCOT. She was terrified. Jason could not get to her fast enough. She was histerical. I do not know why she has this fear. It is a true fear. She does not like any character with a "big head".
The SANTA ordeal has not improved either. I guess Jason will be making a trip to the north pole again this year. We told her that she could not get a toy unless she let Santa come to the house. She said "I will just wait until my birthday". Poor kid!
This weekend we are going to get her Halloween costume ready. She is going to be a butterfly. I think we are going to a Halloween carnival tomorrow night at the Lions Club. It should be fun! Hopefully we will get to carve a pumpkin tomorrow also. Brianna went to a pumpkin patch today with school. She came home with a tiny pumpkin. She wants to carve it! I am not sure that is possible.
I guess that is all for now. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Our family

I added a few pictures to the slide show. We had a good weekend. Jason went to the ranch to deer hunt. It is bow season right now. Brianna and I went to Granbury to Cameron's B-day party. We had a great time with family. There are some pictures of Clay, Mike, Essie and Whitney riding Mikes new dirt bike. NO I DID NOT GET ON IT! I think the scars from the 3rd degree burns taught me a lesson. I did take a ride on Whit's electric scooter though. Cameron had a great day. I can't believe all of the kids are getting so big. The bouncy house is always fun. He got a lot of great gifts, including golf clubs and a drum set. It was a great weekend!

She will be performing at a football game in a couple of weeks. It will be very cute. She loves school and is learning alot. She can write her name and is beginning to know what sound letters make. Her favorite things at school are PE, music class, and riding the bus to after school care.

Dixie's Puppies

On Wednesday 10/11/2006 or chocolate lab, Dixie, had 9 puppies. YES NINE!! They are all chocolate and very cute. There are 7 boys and 2 girls. Brianna has named 3 of the boys(Dave, Jason, and PoppaT). Dixie is a very good mom! We are all excited about the puppies.
